Summer is finally here. My twelve year old grandson Riley has come to stay for the summer. He resides in the northern part of the state. Where most people escape to in the heat of the summer. He has chosen to spend his summer vacation hanging out in the Cities.
There are things he wants to do while he’s here, so we made a Summer Bucket List of 10 things. I figured if he had a bucket list I should have one too. I really thought this would be an easy thing to do.
Riley had his made in less than ten minutes. I on the other hand had to give it some thought.
Here are our lists. I think I will take a picture as each thing is accomplished and share it at the end of the summer. The one thing I didn’t put on our lists was Riley’s request that I teach him to bake. I will also be sharing those moments…and the memories we make.He loves chocolate so you will probably see a lot of chocolate on the blog. We have some fudge to share on Monday. So come back and see us.
What’s on your Summer Bucket List?
